FAQ

How many locations are on the Lagos map?
The official landing map labels about 34 places in Lagos, and the app listing confirms 23 core locations plus venues added since launch — OBO is already teased as coming soon. Careers, gigs, worship, voting and healthcare all hang off specific venues.
Which locations matter most to a new player?
Your job's venue, the Market (cheap food and gigs), a hospital for health crashes, and the Polling Unit once elections open. Everything else is lifestyle — worth exploring once rent is safe.
Do locations change over time?
Yes. The developer adds venues while the city grows — Sea Plots and OBO are both visible on the official map already. The update tracker logs each addition as it is announced.

The city is the game: nearly every action — working, eating, praying, voting, dancing — happens at a named venue, and knowing the map saves commute minutes you feel every day. Names below are the official labels from the game’s own landing map; groupings and career pairings come from the jobs data and community reports.

Where do I go to work?

Twenty-two of the map’s places are career venues. The full wage tables live in all jobs and salaries; this is the neighbourhood view:

Where do I eat and shop?

  • Market (Balogun) — the trading career’s home base, plus cheap food and the load-carrying and buy-and-resell gigs from the money guide.
  • Amala Shitta — legendary Surulere swallow spot; the Chef career’s kitchen.
  • Mako — pizza, fast and social.
  • The Palms, Lekki — the mall: Retail career plus shopping actions.
  • Mama Bisi’s Salon — hair, gossip and the Hairstyling career.

Where do I party and unwind?

Fun is one of the six needs, and Lagos serves it loud: Quilox (club scene, DJ career), Afrika Shrine (live music, the Music career), Eko Hotels and Ivory Rooftop (premium nights), Boat Cruise and the Beach (slow fun), Stadium and the Viewing Centre (football nights), Snooker Spot for quiet games. Free/cheap fun beats premium venues in week one — your budget disagrees with the rooftop bar.

Where are health, faith and civic services?

  • General Hospital, Ikeja — health recovery; also the Medicine and Nursing careers.
  • Church and Mosque — worship actions; the mood lift is why both sit on the core map.
  • MindSpace — the mental wellbeing venue.
  • Police Station — where the wrong kind of night ends up; jail blocks working shifts.
  • High Court, Igbosere — the Law career’s home and the seat of the live court system, where player advocates now take up to 10 clients (see politics and the CBN).
  • Polling Unit — where city elections are voted, the civic heart of the weekly law cycle.
  • UNILAG — the university: student housing, degree study, the future of qualified careers.
  • Naija Radio — broadcasting; one of seven radio stations in the official listing.

What is coming soon on the map?

The official map already teases growth: OBO is labelled “coming soon”, and Sea Plots — water-side land ownership — has its own callout. The landing page also runs live counters (homes, population) that move as the city fills. Track each addition in the official update tracker, and plan commutes with the transport guide.
